“YOUNG BACCHUS” By Charles Louis Malric (1872 – 1942)
A signed bronze sculpture depicting young Bacchus, the Greek God of Wine and Vegetation. With a verdigris patina, he wears a crown of vine leaves and carries a bunch of grapes under his arm.
Signed “MALRIC” by it’s sculptor, and “Susse Frères Editeurs Paris” with a foundry stamp on the base.
