A distinctive 20th-century coffee table with a sculptural iron base formed as a network of interwoven branches and twigs. The surface appears to have been hand-built and textured with a resin-like or composite coating, giving the base an organic, almost cast-from-nature appearance, rather than the cleaner finish of conventional modern metalwork.
A thick square glass top allows the base to remain fully visible from above. The table is sturdy, well balanced and in good overall condition, with a strong decorative presence.
