Transitional style chest of drawers from France. This piece is made of a mix of rosewood and Kingwood. It has a striking geometric marquetry. The feet are curved typical of the Louis XV style, while its body is straighter, typical of the Louis XVI style. The bronzes ormolu mounts blend in elegantly. On top is a stunning Breche D’lep marble top.
