Transitional style chest of drawers from France with striking geometric marquetry in a mix of Rosewoods, including Kingwood, and other exotic woods. The feet are curved typical of the Louis XV style, while its body is more linear, typical of the Louis XVI style. The original gilt bronze mounts still decorate the case and stunning Breche D’alep marble sits atop.
