A quality, English, William IV, solid mahogany, round dining table in excellent original condition. The table boasts a hinged circular top and a rich brown mahogany colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of the care and cleaning it has received. It retains its original working brassware, which consists of a sprung locking mechanism, operating a double latch on the underside of the table, allowing the top to be lifted vertically for storage purposes. The table is supported on a tapering pedestal which terminates on a circular base that rests on scroll & lion’s paw carved feet. It can accommodate up to four people and is sufficiently tall enough to comfortably fit your legs underneath. This would look superb in a variety of rooms, from a dining room to a drawing room, a library or in a large foyer.
