A lovely Louis XV style lady’s writing table, known in France as a “Bonheur du Jour”. Having a brass gallery on top surrounding a marble plinth, over two small drawers. The curved side panels and back all feature boxwood and ebony stringing surrounding book-matched panels. The leather writing surface pulls out for extra room. C.1940
