French, 19th century, Louis XV-Style, marble topped, bombe commode. A serpentine marble top surmounts and conforms to the shape of the case. The case is decorated with finely inlaid rosewoods in a floral marquetry motif with a rich, warm patina. Two swell-front drawers with applied gilt bronze handles and escutcheons of rococo forms; side mounts, and sabots on shaped sabre front legs.
