This matching pair of French modernist side tables was designed by Max Sauze and produced by Isocèle in the early 1970s. Each table features a welded chrome-plated steel rod frame with geometric cross-bracing, supporting a square glass top – one in smoked glass and the other finished in black-painted glass. The clean construction and contrasting surfaces are characteristic of Sauze’s sculptural yet functional approach to metal furniture during this period.
