An elegant, finely carved, Regency style parclose wall mirror from France. Its violin-shaped giltwood frame still vibrantly dressed in the original gold leafing and plank wood backing, (however, the mirror was replaced in recent decades) and embellished on all sides with an abundance of swirls and floral flourishes, the top having a crest of stylised feathers. Circa 1850.
