An English Hepplewhite-style serpentine-front chest of drawers with fine satinwood crossbanding outlining the top and drawer fronts. The chest is arranged with two short drawers over three graduated long drawers, all retaining hand-cut dovetail joinery. The form reflects Hepplewhite influence, with a restrained serpentine facade and shaped bracket feet.
The piece has been professionally restored inside and out, ensuring proper alignment and function. Brass pulls are later replacements in a traditional oval plate form, and it’s been outfitted with a removable fitted glass top
