A French Louis XV-style nightstand crafted in solid walnut with chevron-parquetry panels and a scalloped apron. Hand-carved acanthus leaves decorate the cabriole legs, with shell motifs at the shoulders adding a refined flourish. The shaped and inset marble top features deep earthy tones laced with alabaster veining, while the interior of the lower cabinet is fully lined in white marble. Circa 1880
