A fine French Louis XV style Rosewood writing desk from the period of Napoleon III (Circa 1870). The serpentine-shaped top features an inset, hand-tooled leather writing surface, above three frieze drawers and three matching decorative (false) drawers at the rear, on cabriole legs headed by ormolu chutes and sabots.
