Mid-century Louis XV style mirror and low console table, crafted in Switzerland circa 1953, and finished in well-executed giltwood. The mirror features an elongated arched plate within a finely molded frame, surmounted by an openwork crest with Rococo scrolls and foliate carving. The matching console table is of serpentine form, with cabriole legs and a carved apron centered by a shell motif. The top is fitted with a shaped marble slab, original to the piece, with natural variation throughout.
