Georgian style wall mirror featuring a shaped walnut-finish frame with a pierced scrolling crest centered by a carved “Prince of Wales feathers” motif. The upper panel is decorated with a hand-painted floral still life in the Dutch taste, above a rectangular mirror plate. The frame displays molded and carved detailing throughout with chinoiserie and japanned influences characteristic of early Georgian revival furniture and decorative arts. England, circa 1880.
