French Restoration period center table (gueridon) dating to the early 19th century (1814-1830), crafted in mahogany veneer and fitted with its original grey Sainte-Anne marble top featuring a recessed center. The circular top is supported by a faceted baluster pedestal raised on a tripod base with carved scrollwork, paw feet, and concealed casters. Pieces of this type were produced in France during the Restoration period and reflect the transition from the formal grandeur of the Empire style toward the lighter and more refined furnishings of the 1820s. Retains age-appropriate wear and patina consistent with its period.
