A fine 19th century French Louis XV style kingwood bombe commode (chest of drawers), decorated with floral marquetry panels on the sides and across all three drawer fronts. The commode retains its original gilt-bronze rococo pulls and escutcheons, with additional ormolu mounts protecting the corners and apron. Raised on cabriole legs capped with gilt-bronze sabots and having a shaped marble top, it is both decorative and functional, offering ample storage in three deep drawers.
