Finely carved 19th century French oak Louis XV style armoire. The substantial cornice sits above an elaborately carved frieze. Below, a pair of beautifully shaped and carved doors enclose a shelved interior. Possibly a ‘marriage armoire’ with the basket of flowers carved into the frieze and floral theme throughout. C. 1860 – 80.
