This decorative panel was assembled from salvaged elements of a 19th-century Indian door, likely originating from Rajasthan. Crafted from dense teak, it retains its original hand-forged iron strapwork and domed brass bosses (traditional fittings once used to decorate, protect and reinforce large entry doors). The frame is richly carved with scrolling foliate motifs and a cusped arch, characteristic of the architectural style found in northern India during the period
