This Stunning and large, giltwood Italian mirror is in the Baroque style. It is highly sculptural with a large cherub at the top with its wings flowing to either side. Robust acanthus leave carvings in large scrolling swirls surround the sides of the mirror. The raised portions of the motifs have been gilded with burnished highlights. Circa early 18th century.
