A French chinoiserie armoire/wardrobe featuring a plum pudding mahogany exterior, two lacquered doors decorated with hand-painted oriental scenes in gilt and polychrome against a black ground, highly detailed gilt bronze (ormolu) mounts, and a molded cornice. The interior opens to reveal fitted shelving and two small drawers. Raised on tapered legs with a shaped apron.
