An exceptional Louis XVI style display cabinet crafted with fine marquetry, ormolu mounts, and richly detailed inlays. The cabinet features three central glazed doors flanked by curved glass vitrine ends, all framed with finely chased gilt-bronze mounts and beading. The doors open to reveal glass shelving backed with a patterned silk damask interior. The lower panels are richly decorated with floral marquetry and musical motifs, contrasting beautifully against the warm, book matched veneers. The cabinet is further enhanced with elaborate gilt-bronze mounts, including acanthus leaves, rosettes, and neoclassical medallions. C.1995 made in North Carolina.
