A late 19th-century Anglo-Indian side chair, constructed from solid teak, and clad in hand-embossed silvered metal with intricate floral and geometric designs. The curved top rail is flanked by dramatic ram’s head finials, and the seat is upholstered in rich indigo velvet. A striking fusion of British Regency form and South Asian craftsmanship, likely made in Bombay or Ceylon around 1890.
