A handsome Louis XV Style cabinet from Paris, stamped on the back by the maker “E. Levieil”. The doors are elegantly bookmatched and quartered in burl walnut with fruitwood inlaid crossbanding, and they open to three adjustable shelves inside. Having a contoured breche d’alep marble top, original gilt bronze mounts and sabbots, and a makers mark still legible on the back reading “E. Levieil – Paris”. Late 19th century.
