This early 20th century French Louis XVI style display cabinet or bookcase features fluted pilasters, glazed upper doors, and a shaped white marble top. The case was skillfully handbuilt in mahogany, and embellished with finely cast ormolu (gilt bronze) mounts, including beaded panel trim, foliate appliques, and feet sabbots. It comes outfitted with 3 strong glass shelves, and a lower wood shelf – all adjustable.
