This large, hand-carved, French Rococo Revival console table is carved from solid rosewood and features a shaped serpentine front, deeply carved foliate and scrollwork detailing, and a pierced apron centered by a bold shell motif. The cabriole legs are joined by a sweeping stretcher with an elaborate carved centerpiece. Circa 1850.
