A striking folk corner cabinet, richly hand-painted in deep red, green, cream and gilt tones. The double doors are decorated with finely hand-painted repeating floral sprigs within cusped latticework, framed by scrolling foliate borders and gilt mouldings, with the painted decoration continuing around the angled sides. Finished with a moulded cornice and shaped plinth base. Rarely do we see hand-painted pieces so richly detailed and executed with this level of skill.
