An exceptionally fine, authentic Persian Kashan rug featuring a highly sought-after rich red field. Hand-knotted with premium wool on a cotton foundation, this piece showcases the classic Kashan composition: an intricate diamond-lobed medallion with ivory and light blue accents, anchored on a dense field of swirling palmettes, scrolling floral vines, and balanced navy spandrels. The composition is framed by a deep navy blue main border adorned with alternating floral rosettes, palmettes, and intertwining vines, flanked by detailed ivory and red guard borders. With a dense weave, the drawing is sharp and articulate. Preserved in good condition with a clean, secured fringe.
