A handsome, very early 20th or late 19th century (1890-1910) French, Louis Philippe style vitrine (display cabinet), crafted in solid walnut and retaining its original warm patina. The cabinet features fluted quarter columns capped with simplified capitals, framing a tall single glazed door with rounded corners and original glass panels on three sides. Inside, three adjustable glass shelves allow for flexible display, backed by a mirror panel to enhance light and depth. Below, a richly molded and paneled lower section conceals a lower storage compartment.
