A French Louis XV style side table or nightstand, circa 1880-1900, constructed in walnut with contrasting rosewood marquetry panels and fine stringing. The shaped top features a framed central field, while the three serpentine drawers are decorated with flowing inlaid reserves and fitted with round metal pulls. The case is raised on slender cabriole legs with a shaped apron.
