Beautifully proportioned with softly rounded ends, the cabinet features richly figured veneers and finely executed geometric diamond-pattern marquetry to the outer doors. The restrained architectural form is accented by elegant brass hardware, brass-capped tapered legs, and a particularly striking sculptural mermaid-form bronze mount adorning the central doors. At the heart of the piece is an ingenious revolving cocktail bar. The curved central section rotates outward to reveal a contrasting blond-wood interior fitted with curved glass shelves, creating a concealed bar for displaying and serving bottles and glassware. When closed, the bar disappears neatly into the façade, restoring the cabinet’s clean, symmetrical lines. The flanking cabinets open to reveal generous fitted storage, including shelving and drawers, while a protective glass top follows the long, gently curved profile of the cabinet.
