A late 19th century French display cabinet, vitrine, or bookcase in solid cherry wood with a gently shaped bonnet top and two glazed doors. The cabinet features curved upper glazing with molded frames and solid lower panels, opening to an interior fitted with multiple glass shelves for display. The case is constructed with rounded front corners and a molded plinth base, typical of provincial French cabinetry from the late 19th century. Original decorative brass hardware with pierced escutcheons and key is present. The warm cherry wood finish highlights the natural grain and subtle tonal variation of the timber. Circa 1880–1900.
