French Provincial oak linen or storage cabinet, circa 1780-1820, constructed from solid oak with pegged joinery and paneled sides. Features two arched-panel doors, a central drawer with original-style iron pull, and interior shelving for storage. This form is commonly referred to in France as an armoire de linge or bonnetière. Narrow proportions make it suitable for use as a linen cabinet, pantry cabinet, or compact wardrobe.
