A dramatic late-19th-century French chandelier featuring a gilt-brass frame hung with a generous collection of hand-cut crystal drops, pendants and faceted beads. Originally constructed as a candle chandelier, the fixture was later converted for electric lighting. Circa 1890-1910.
Important electrical condition disclosure:
The chandelier retains an older European electrical conversion, including wooden insulating components and fabric-covered wiring that is now visibly deteriorated. This chandelier must be completely rewired and inspected by a qualified electrician before installation or connection to power. It is offered in its current condition as a decorative antique fixture requiring electrical restoration.
Due to its age and the complexity of its construction, installation should also be completed by an experienced professional. Electrical restoration and installation are not included in the purchase price.
