Moorcroft pottery sugar shaker in the Fruit & Berry pattern, produced in England in the early 20th century. The baluster-form body is decorated with tube-lined fruit and berries against a deep cobalt blue ground, finished in a high-gloss glaze. The base bears the impressed Moorcroft mark along with “Made in England.” Retains its original hammered metal caster top, typical of the period. Pieces of this form were used as sugar casters or muffineers, commonly found in Arts and Crafts period table settings.
