French Empire style partner’s desk in mahogany, featuring a rectangular form with inset leather writing surface bordered by gilt tooling. The top shows age and use consistent with a genuine leather surface. The desk is fitted with multiple drawers to both sides, each with cast brass pulls, and includes pull-out writing slides. Each pull-out is 14″ wide.
Raised on turned column legs with cast brass capitals and collars, joined by shaped stretchers. Clean, symmetrical construction typical of Empire Revival design, combining classical proportions with functional workspace.
