A French Louis XV style parclose mirror, circa 1890, featuring a pierced and scrolling rococo frame, richly carved with floral clusters and a central openwork crest. The frame retains its original water gilding with burnished highlights and tonal variation, and the mirror features a central plate surrounded by smaller mirrored panels (parcloses) set within molded divisions.
