This 19th century Louis XVI style mahogany demilune folding games table, designed with a hinged and swivel top that opens into a full circular playing surface. The apron is framed with gilt-brass mounts, neoclassical mouldings, and panelled reserves, all raised on five fluted, tapered legs with brass sabots. This form was traditionally used in French salons, where it served as an elegant console when closed and converted into a games table when opened.
The interior playing surface has had its original baize removed due to condition; it is currently left bare so the new owner may choose their preferred finish. We can help you explore replacement options.
