Crafted in richly figured mahogany with ormolu (Gold gilded bronze) mounts and a grey veined marble top, it features a single frieze drawer, fall-front writing surface lined in gilt-tooled leather, and a lower cabinet fitted with a shelf. Fluted stiles, brass trim on 3 sides, and tapered legs with sabots complete this handsome piece, executed with Rinck’s signature precision and refinement.
