A handsome French Normandy oak armoire or wardrobe, circa 1850–1880. Exceptional deep relief carvings of floral sprays, scrolling foliage, urns, and a central medallion enrich the doors and crest, all framed by a shaped cornice and scalloped apron. Cabriole legs with scrolled feet complete the regional design. The interior is fitted with shelving for ample storage. A striking example of 19th century Normandy craftsmanship at its best.
