An oversized 19th century English umbrella and cane stand in solid oak. Built for institutional or club use, it features carved geometric motifs, arched ends, and prominent barley twist rails throughout. The twisted wood rails are not just decorative—they help cradle and separate walking sticks and canes, preventing them from sliding or knocking together. Wrought iron rods and side rings provide additional structure, while the base includes two curved drip trays for umbrellas. Designed to hold canes, walking sticks, or umbrellas. Likely originally from a club, lodge, or institutional entry hall.
