A most impressive French late-19th century Louis XVÂ breakfront armoire, the doors and panels with mahogany edges and book-matched kingwood centre panels, and accented throughout with finely cast and finished gilt bronze mounts. The figural corner mounts and lower central ‘mask’ are particularly notable for both their size but also fine quality of detail. The three doors open to reveal adjustable shelves in each section.
