Beautiful, 19th century Louis XVI-style secretaire in flame mahogany, richly decorated with inlaid fruitwood & kingwood banding and marquetry depicting numerous musical instruments, vinework and foliage. A drop front door presents open to a complete desk, decorated with a red leather writing surface; inside has 6 drawers, 1 central cupboard and 2 shelves. On both sides of the front there are empire-style columns, inlaid with vines.
