A French, Louis XVI-style, marble top console table. The marble top has beautifully subtle grey veining and rests upon an attractive pierce-carved apron in a repeating oblong shape with bead trim. A porcelain plaque of a woman’s face is featured at centre, flanked by beautifully carved garland swags. The table stands on four cylindrical fluted legs, and hand-carved rectangular rosettes join all corners. This pieces has an a rich patina with highlights of it’s original gold leafing still peaking through. Circa 1920
