A handsome, late Louis XVI semainier or tall chest, dating back to 1780-1790. Constructed with solid fruitwood, featuring a marble top over seven drawers (one for each day of the week!) between opposing fluted columns and paneled sides. Each drawer with a paneled front, original brass pulls and keyhole escutcheons, set upon raised turned feet with brass sabots.
