A French, Napoleon III, two-door armoire in highly figured ‘plum pudding’ mahogany, the doors with original mirrors featuring complex bevelled edges and flanked by fluted tapering columns with inset brass.
The panelled sides, crown and doors are accented with brass trim and the crown is further embellished with a pair of finely-cast bronze finials. Four adjustable shelves to the interior. Circa 1860. Excellent original condition with an even colour and warm patina.
