A handsome and larger-scale French flame mahogany Empire style marble top console & mirror, the console with plinth base supporting a pair of ‘caryatid’ column supports with a mirror back below grey marble top, the frieze with fitted drawer and ormolu details. A large matching flame mahogany framed mirror above, raised on carved feet and flanked by a pair of gilt bronze sconces and crowned with a pediment top also with classical ormolu detail. C. 1880
