An early 19th Century English Regency library table on a turned pedestal base with reeded out-swept sabre legs with original brass casters. The frieze is fitted with single drawers to the ends and also a functioning centre drawer to each side flanked by two ‘dummy’ drawers, all with ebony strung edges.
The top has a gilt tooled-leather surface with a mahogany banded edge. Circa 1825.
