An English Georgian-Revival breakfront bookcase in mahogany with four upper glazed doors opening to reveal adjustable shelves and four lower cabinets. A central drawer opens and drops down to provide a secretary work space with cubbyholes, small drawers and a leather writing surface. The lower drawers feature flame mahogany panels, and the doors and crown are accented with inlaid banding.
While still an impressive piece, this breakfront is scaled-back somewhat from a typical bookcase of this design, being well under eight feet in height and only 20″ deep at its deepest. Circa 1950.
90″ Wide x 20″ Deep x 88.5″ Tall.
