An expertly crafted French 19th-century secretaire of Kingwood (the densest of the rosewood family) and tulipwood, with ormolu hardware and marble top. Decorated with inlaid, matchbooked geometric motifs. Sitting on fine cabriole legs and decorated with matchbooked, geometric motif inlay detailing. The front folds down to reveal the fitted leather writing surface, original hardware, and five interior drawers; each finely detailed. On top is the original marble top with bevelled edge.
