An unusual early-to-mid 19th Century buffet hutch or kitchen cabinet of an asymmetrical design, the base with a large cupboard to the right and smaller to the left. This design is echoed in the upper cabinets, which are raised on boldly shaped supports. The piece has a warm patina with faded wood tones contrasting with trace areas of original paint. Interesting original mechanical locks to the doors. Circa 1830-50.
